Job Description

Role: Senior Engineer

Location: Romford, London

Salary: £400 - £450/day

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Engineer with highways, structures and rail experience to get started immediately in the Romford area on a major new project.

Role:

* Reviewing and writing subcontactor RAMS, ITPs, producing as builts

* Managing a team of site engineers

* Managing specialist structural, highways subcontractors

* Preparing and maintaining QA documentation

* Liasing with the senior management team

* Liasing with the external design team

* Develop the logistics, construction methodology,

* Temporary works and spatial requirements.

* Compilation and production of written reports, formatting of documents and presentations to professionally present the teams output to the Client.

* Manage the control of the Construction issue drawings and sketches produced for reports etc.

* Stakeholder engagement - work with Community Relations Mgr to obtain necessary access and consents.

* Managing subcontractors; checking and maintaining QA and HSE standards

Requirements:

* At least 5 years experience within civil engineering, preferably in the highways and rail sectors

* CSCS

* HNC/ HND in Civil Engineering minimum

* Temporary Works Supervisor (Desirable)
