One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.
Overview:
* Main priority is to provide an efficient and effective service in relation to all of the Authority’s payments.
Key Responsibilities
* To work with colleagues to achieve service plan objectives/targets.
* To participate in Employee Development Scheme/Appraisals and contribute to the identification of your own and team development needs
* To actively promote the Council's Equal Opportunity Policy and Diversity Strategy and observe the standard of conduct which prevents discrimination taking place.
* To ensure full compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
* To ensure full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 etc., the Council's Health and Safety Policy and all locally agreed safe methods of work.
* At the discretion of the Head of Service, such other activities as may from time to time may be agreed consistent with the nature of the job described above.
