Midday Supervisor

Location: Sutton, Carlshalton
Hours: 5 days per week, 2 hours per day (Midday Shift)

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Midday Supervisor to support our students during lunchtime and ensure a safe, positive, and productive environment. The Midday Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the students in the cafeteria, playground, or designated areas, promoting appropriate behaviour, and assisting with various tasks as needed.

• Supervise students during lunchtime, ensuring a safe and orderly environment in the cafeteria, playground, or other designated areas.
• Support students with appropriate behavior expectations, including managing minor conflicts and ensuring respectful interactions.
• Assist students with food distribution, cleaning up, and disposing of waste.
• Monitor students for health and safety concerns, immediately reporting any issues to the appropriate staff.
• Encourage positive play and social interactions during outdoor activities.
• Assist staff members with any special activities or events, as directed.
• Follow school policies and procedures in managing student behavior and safety.
• Be proactive in identifying potential problems or hazards and take action to address them.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents as needed.

• Previous experience working with children or in a supervisory role is preferred.
• Ability to handle student behavior with patience, respect, and professionalism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• A positive and proactive attitude towards working with students.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and appropriately.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students.

• 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
• 2 hours per day, typically during the lunch period (exact hours to be determined).
