Job Description

Clear Engineering are currently looking for HV AP to join an established MEP Contractor in Dublin to work on a large data centre project. This is a 6 month rolling contract.

Key responsibilities -

Issue permit-to-work (PTW) systems, ensuring all HV works comply with safety regulations.

Carry out routine inspections, testing, and maintenance on HV switchgear, transformers, and distribution networks.

Respond to faults, failures, and emergency situations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including risk assessments and method statements.

Conduct risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safety audits for all HV-related activities.

Participate in incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Provide technical guidance and training to colleagues on HV systems and safe working procedures.

Requirements -

Must hold HV Authorised Person certificate

Current Wiring Regulations Certificate (e.g 18th edition)

Ideally hold an Electrical degree or equivalent

The ideal person will have experience working in a mission critical environment previously.
