Role: Youth & Community Worker Professional

Contract: Full Time 35 hours per week, 9-5pm

Location: Children & Young People Services, Edge Hill CFC, Liverpool, L7 1PH

Hourly rates: PAYE £17.10 / Umbrella Ltd £21.64

• Liverpool City Council are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Youth Worker within the Targeted Support Team, part of Targeted Services for Young People for maternity cover.

• The successful candidate will work directly with young people who have been referred for one to one support, and will be expected to manage a caseload of referrals. As a youth worker in our team you will build positive and trusting relationships with young people, and will work in a bespoke person centred way in order to get the very best outcomes for them.

• Young people are referred to us for one to one support from a variety of agencies and with a wide range of needs which requires a creative, imaginative and Child First approach.

• As a youth worker in our team you will also build positive relationships with families, caregivers and fellow professionals so that young people are effectively safeguarded. You will support and advocate for young people in professionals meetings.
