BSL Teaching Assistant - SEN School - Immediate Start

Are you a passionate and skilled BSL Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact? We are seeking a dedicated BSL TA to support a deaf student with an EHCP in a fantastic SEN school. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored support and help a student thrive in their learning journey.

BSL Teaching Assistant | The Role:

Provide 1:1 support for a deaf student, ensuring full access to the curriculum

Use British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or above to aid communication

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support

Encourage social interaction and emotional development

Adapt learning materials to suit the student's individual needs

BSL Teaching Assistant | Requirements:

BSL Level 2 or above (Level 3+ preferred)

Experience working with deaf students or in an SEN setting

Understanding of EHCP plans and how to implement tailored strategies

Patient, nurturing, and passionate about making a difference
