Role: Behaviour Support Mentor

Location: North Tyneside

Hours: Full Time - 5 days a week

Pay Rate: £96 - £105 per day

Empowering Learning require several behaviour support mentors to work 1-1 with social, emotional and mental health students in several settings within North Tyneside.

It is paramount that the successful applicant can work 5 days for the continuity of the students due the trauma and attachment disorders that some of these students have.

The individual will be-

Calm and resilient

SEMH experience and able to deescalate behaviours that challenges- Team teach would be an asset- but training can be provided

To develop 1:1 mentoring relationship with identified students

Working directly with individuals and small groups to raise self esteem of the students with a view to improve their social and personal skills

To motivate, engage and be a role model for the students

DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
