Estates Officer – £15 per Hour – 3 month contract
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a dynamic team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for a permanent position.
The Role: As an Estates Officer, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of multiple multi-tenant buildings, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring buildings meet the needs of those working within them.
Managing services such as facilities, cleaning, and general building maintenance.
Planning and coordinating installations, planned works, and refurbishments.
Setting up and clearing down rooms for events such as conferences.
Overseeing cleaning and repairs across the portfolio.
Conducting weekly fire alarm tests.
Raising jobs for reactive maintenance with contractors.
Emptying rubbish bins and ensuring cleanliness is maintained.
Managing the physical aspects of the buildings, including structures and fixtures.
Ensuring health and safety compliance and updating risk assessments.
Reviewing and signing off contractor work to ensure it meets required standards.
Handling and resolving complaints regarding facilities.
Assisting in budget management, ensuring services are delivered within specified budgets.
Managing an out-of-hours call-out rota, including evenings and weekends.What We’re Looking For:
IT literate with strong administrative skills.
A Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
Experience in writing and updating risk assessments.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to manage a varied and complex workload.
