Job Title: Field Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic and physically fit individual to join our team as a Field Technician. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining assets, with a strong emphasis on ground and civil works. Prior experience with 360 excavators or 360 tickets is crucial to excel in this position. Candidates must own a car, hold a valid driver s license, and possess a strong willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspections, repairs, and maintenance of assets, adhering to high-quality standards.
• Operate 360 excavators and dumpers safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while following health and safety, financial, and contractual guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with scheduling teams and management to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Provide daily feedback to assist in minimizing environmental compliance issues.
• Manage workload effectively to maintain flexibility across a variety of tasks.
• Perform tasks such as meter installations, tank cleaning, pipework modifications, and general site maintenance.
• Overtime work available.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Essential: Proven experience operating 360 excavators or possession of 360 tickets.
• Physically fit, with a car and valid driver s license.
• Background in civil works, plumbing, or similar fields is highly desirable.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in asset maintenance, especially in ground and civil works.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to organize and adapt to changing work arrangements efficiently.
• Willingness to travel across the Nottingham area and stay overnight if required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in O&M activities or work with water/sewage assets is an advantage.
• Skilled in safely using tools and equipment, particularly 360 excavators and dumpers.
• Basic understanding of risk assessments.
