Site Supervisor – Groundworks

Location: North London

Start Date: April 2025

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: £24 - 25 per hour DOE

We are looking for an experienced site supervisor with a strong groundworks background to lead a small team on a three-month project in North London, starting in April 2025. This role offers the potential for further opportunities beyond this project for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

* Supervising a team of 4–5 groundworkers

* Reading and working from technical drawings

* Overseeing all groundworks operations to ensure smooth site progress

* Ensuring health and safety compliance and maintaining site standards

* Problem-solving on-site and supporting the team as needed

Requirements:

* SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)

* Proven groundworks experience with hands-on capability

* Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in groundworks

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team

* Proactive, hardworking, and solution-driven approach

* A team player with a humble, collaborative attitude

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role in a fast-paced environment. While this project is initially for three months, there is the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
