PMST Lead Engineer - 56320 - Up to £36.56/hr - Inside IR35 (Open rate role - can increase for exceptional candidates)

This role as a Lead Engineer places you at the heart of product development within a renowned automotive industry leader, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation. Positioned at the cutting edge of automotive engineering, you will be instrumental in steering projects towards success, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the LV EDS Program team and Full-Service Supplier, orchestrating regular meetings to align on outstanding issues and drive resolution.
• Spearhead cross-functional activities for issue resolution, involving multiple departments to ensure seamless progress.
• Utilise the GPDS System to track program timing and prepare for key milestones such as Chief Attestation and Chief Declaration.
• Oversee EDS Concern releasing within WERS, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
• Facilitate supplier onsite visits.
• Manage EDS cost finance status, contributing to the vehicle's cost efficiency and design integrity.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven problem-solving skills, ideally with experience in G8D Process and 3 legged 5 why.
• Familiarity with 2D Wire Harness drawing, WERS Usage Coding, and the ability to make informed electrical and mechanical EDS design decisions.
• Proficiency in EDS Drafting Software and tools such as CapXC, Zuken, and Integrator process.
• Experience in EDS design, particularly in routing, packaging, and electrical EDS Launch.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, complemented by EDS design experience.
