Social Worker - Adults Early Support

Manchester City Council's Adults Early Support Team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Worker to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing high-quality support to adults with complex needs, enabling them to live independent and fulfilling lives.

About the Role:

The role holder will work with complex cases in accordance with statutory responsibilities, deploying these responsibilities in accordance with national and local policies and procedures to secure positive outcomes for citizens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage safeguarding risk effectively, working within a multi-agency environment, providing a professional social work service.
• Promote the independence and well-being of adults of working age and/or older people.
• Review citizens' and carers' care and support needs and eligibility in accordance with eligibility standards, while keeping the citizen and carer at the heart of care.
• Work in a holistic and strength-based way, ensuring customers and families remain central to the processes they are part of.

What We Are Looking For:

• A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
• Significant experience of working with adults with complex needs
• Experience of working within a multi-agency environment
• Knowledge of safeguarding adults procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
