PMLD Support (Profound and multiple learning disabilities)

• Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with complex learning and physical needs?
• Have you come from a care or support worker background, potentially supporting adults with additional needs?
• Are you able to support teachers and care givers to provide the best form of education and care for children?

If so, this could be the ideal role for you!

Veritas Education are working with multiple Special Needs settings in the Wakefield and Kirklees area who are looking for PMLD support and care assistants to join their schools and settings.

We are in search for the ideal candidate who is wanting to join a passionate, caring and resilient team of SEN support staff within a complex needs school!

Requirements:

• Complete all recruitment and background checks with Veritas Education, including a DBS check (We can help advise on this)
• Previous experience supporting complex, PMLD, severe learning or learning needs is preferred
• comfortable supporting with personal care and hygiene support across children and young adult age groups
• A confident, caring and committed staff member to providing the best care possible!
• Able to work alongside teachers, care support and medical staff
