Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer on a 9 month Contract, based in North West

Hybrid working: 4 days working in office, 1 day working from home

Job Description

Ø Answering technical queries, requests for information and resolving non conformances

Ø Produce and check structural calculations and details that are necessary for site modifications (with approval of the permanent works team)

Ø Carry out site surveys

Ø Review contractor method statements, risk assessments and inspection plans etc.

Ø Review temporary works designs

Ø Face to face interfacing with construction to understand requirements, issues and work priorities, assessing any impacts against the design and scope of work required

Essential Experience/ Requirements

Ø Ability to obtain BPSS is essential for this role

Ø Degree or HNC qualified, Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) with in post-Chartership experience.

Ø A pro-active, self-starter with good communication, analytical and team working skills.

Ø Understanding of CDM Regulations.

Ø Experienced STAAD user.

Ø Calculation production using Excel

Design Tools/ Software

Ø Effective computer skills; latest editions of Microsoft Office software.
