Contract Manager, required for a major offshore wind developer based in Germany

Responsibilities.

Contract management of high value, complex Tier 1 contracts to ensure contractual deliverable are met during the construction phase.

Responsible for collaborating with PM and package teams; advising on contractual and commercial issues, identifying risks and minimizing impacts to the Project.

Be the single point of contact for the Contractor regarding all commercial/contractual matters.

Change management including variation orders, amendments and settlement agreements.

Claim management including drafting, substantiation and negotiation including offshore campaign claims; Tracking stand-by/downtimes during offshore T&I campaign, handling of extension of time and various offshore-specific claims during construction phase,

Manage all commercial operations for the respective package, processing payment applications, forecasting of costs and commercial reporting to the Project.

Undertake procurement tasks for the respective package during construction phase, such as additional equipment/tools/scope of work to the package, active use of SAP Requirements

At least 10 years of technical background (Quantity Surveying/Engineering).
