Job Advert: Multiskilled Shift Technician - London (Full-Time, Temporary)

Position: Multiskilled Shift Technician (MST)

Location: Commerzbank A G London Branch, 30 Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7PG

Start Date: 1st April 2025

End Date: 30th June 2025

Pay Rate: £30.77 per hour (umbrella)

Shift Pattern: Continental Shift Pattern (12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights: 07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00)

Pre-Employment Check: Standard DBS required

Holiday Entitlement: 32 days

We are currently seeking an experienced Multiskilled Shift Technician (MST) to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis. The role involves working a rotating shift pattern covering both day and night shifts, ensuring the maintenance and operation of electrical and mechanical services across the Commerzbank London Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and operate electrical & mechanical systems to industry standards.

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive issues.

Support the Site Operations Risk Controller (SORC) with maintenance and fault-finding of electrical/mechanical assets.

Carry out fault identification, rectification, and escalation when required.

Install and modify electrical and mechanical site services.

Assist with LV/HV switching operations (training provided).

Operate and troubleshoot various building systems, including:

Electrical installations, emergency lighting, and lighting control systems.

BMS, fire suppression, HVAC (VAV, FCUs, chilled beams).

AHUs, boilers, heating systems, generators, UPS systems.

Mechanical plant components such as dampers, actuators, and pipework.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in the Building Services industry.

City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Services/Maintenance (essential).

City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Services/Maintenance (desirable).

18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.

HV Authorised Person Certificate (desirable).

Recognised training or apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical services.

Strong communication skills and ability to work at all levels.

Proactive, reliable, and willing to undergo additional training as required.This role is based in London, EC2V 7PG, and dates may be subject to change. Uniform will be provided.
