About the Role

As the RF Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex RF electronic components, including receiver/transmit amplifier chains, filters, and frequency synthesisers. Your expertise in software-defined radios and power supply/digital interface design will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of these electronic products.

You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, such as the Datalink core team, Design Authority, and other functional entities, to ensure your designs integrate seamlessly with the overall system. Your strong planning and organisational skills, coupled with your ability to deliver on time and within budget, will be highly valued.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this RF Designer role will possess the following:

Proven experience in RF electronics design, preferably in harsh environments (EMC, vibration, thermal)

Expertise in guiding the design implementation of RF electronics components, including receiver/transmit amplifier chains, filters, and frequency synthesisers

Knowledge of power supply and digital interface design for RF products

A track record of managing the development and delivery of RF electronic equipment through all stages of the process

Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills

Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
