Religious Studies (RE) Teacher

Location: Crosby.

Contract Type: Temporary, Full Time Monday to Friday.

Start Date: Easter to July 2025. Could become permanent for the right Religious Studies Teacher.

Salary: 140 - 230 per day (Paid to Scale)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education? Are you looking for a new challenge in a supportive and thriving secondary school? Empowering Learning are working alongside a well-regarded school in Crosby who are currently seeking a RE Teacher to join their team in April 2025. This role will involve teaching key stage 3 to key stage 4. Ideally you must hold Qualified Teacher status (QTS) for this role.

About the Role:

• Subject Specialism: You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in Religious Education.
• Potential for permanent contract: For a candidate who demonstrates exceptional skills and a genuine passion for teaching, there is a potential for this role to become permanent as of September 2025

What We're Looking For:

• Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred, but we are open to considering strong candidates with significant teaching experience.
• Experience: You should have a solid background in teaching Religious Education. Experience in managing diverse classrooms and dealing with challenging behaviour is essential.
• Skills: Strong classroom management skills are a must. You should be confident, proactive, and enthusiastic about teaching, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
• Approach: We value teachers who are passionate about their subject and can inspire and motivate our students. A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning is highly appreciated.
