Advance Management Uk Ltd are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for various tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching orders, adhering to all safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Operative in our food production facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials throughout the production process. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials within the warehouse. Your attention to detail and adherence to strict hygiene and food safety standards will be crucial to maintaining the quality and safety of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming deliveries of raw materials, packaging materials, and other goods. Unload trucks and verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Storage and Organization: Store materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling, rotation (FIFO), and organization. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack raw materials and packaging materials according to production schedules and specific requirements.
• Inventory Management: Assist with regular inventory counts and stock checks to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training will be provided).
• Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate PPE, following handwashing procedures, and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions.
• Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate effectively with other warehouse and production team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
• General Warehouse Duties: Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager, including cleaning, organizing, and assisting with special projects.
