Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Stockport Council's Front Door and Urgent Response Team. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of 30 per hour.

This is an office based role.

Responsibilities:

• Working alongside Health colleagues to reduce the need for hospital attendance.
• Completing visits as and when required, including same day response.
• Completing Care Act and short term assessments, with a focus on reducing need and promoting a persons independence in their own home
• To provide a Social Work response and expertise within a multi-disciplinary team

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
