Warehouse Operative (FLT Reach Licence Required)
Newport, Wales | £17.02 Days, £20.43 Evenings | 12 Month Contract
Warehouse Operative required to join a positive and friendly team working in a state-of-the-art purpose built facility (with on-site parking). The role will be initially morning shifts from Monday to Friday with the anticipation to change to rotating mornings and evening shifts.
This is a great opportunity to have a diverse working week carrying out various specialist roles within the warehouse (FLT operating, picking, packing, goods in, stock take, administration etc) giving you a fresh challenge every day.
Shift Times:
6AM – 3PM Monday – Thursday & Fridays 6AM-11AM
2pm -10PM Monday – Thursday & Fridays 2PM-7PM
Role and Responsibilities:
Operation of a FLT Reach vehicle in a busy working environment
Ensure stock take duties are carried out accurately and efficiently.
Take delivery of goods inwards. Ensuring the safe and efficient loading/unloading/ movement of material across the site.
Ensure materials are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and checked for damages and quantity.
Able to complete administrative responsibilities such as recording data and inputting this in the company database.
Put materials away in stores after deliveries in accordance with stock control systems in place.
The Candidate
We are seeking an individual with warehousing experience who is able to work independently and manage their own time. You must have experience operating a Reach Truck. (In house License accepted.) and will require good IT skills with the ability to use an MRP system and PDA, ensuring stock levels are accurate.
Essentials
FLT Reach licence and driving experience
Warehousing including P&P
Computer literate (Excel, MRP, PDA experience)
Other information: A pre-employment Drugs & Alcohol test and Medical must be passed prior to start.
