Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our client on a HVDC cable connection project in Scotland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Responsibilities

* Manage daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflow.

* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

* Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports on progress, issues, and resolutions.

* Lead team meetings to communicate project goals, updates, and expectations effectively.

* Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the required standards.

* Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and professionally.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the HV industry.

* Experience working on similar projects

* 10+ years experience

* Knowledge of HV cable connections, installations and terminations

* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

* Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.

* Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

* Computer Illiterate
