Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a focused and professional Bookkeeper on behalf of a well-known distribution SME business within Rotherham. The business is looking for a driven individual to complete a contract role that will transition in to a permanent role on successful completion of the initial contract.Duties and responsibilities will include:- Processing purchase and sales ledger
- Cash Flow
- Assistance within budgeting and forecasting
- Bank Recs
- Monthly reconciliation
- Maintain the petty cash
- Assistance within annual forecasting
- Liaising with financial clients
- Attending budgeting meetingsThe successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:- Previous experience in working within a similar Bookkeeping or Assistant Accountant role
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Strong excel skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Immediately available or available at short notice
