Manufacturing Operative
Manufacturing Operatives RequiredWe are currently looking to recruit Manufacturing Operatives / Moulders for our client based in Houghton Regis, Beds.
This is a possible temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidates! Salary is £9.20 per hour to start with potential to increase to £10.25 after training and overtime paying £13.80 per hour is also available.
THE JOB:
Our client produces a range of rubber parts for cars in a busy manufacturing, factory environment.
These parts need to be moulded into different shapes using machinery and moulding plates.
The role is to set and run the moulding machines including all quality checks.
You will need to communicate clearly and precisely with the shift manager and colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous manufacturing experience
Previous experience of moulding
Experience of working with various moulding plates
Understanding of setting and operating machines
Quality control experience
Ability to lift heavy moulds
Excellent communication skills
Hours of work are weekly rotating shifts of AM and PM and all candidates MUST BE flexible to work a night shift as and when required also.
This is a Temp to Perm position with an immediate start for the right candidate.
