Ignata Education is working with a progressive primary school in Bristol that is looking for a confident and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity to join a warm and friendly school that is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and become an important member of a well-established and successful SEN department.The school's SENCO is looking for a reliable, outgoing Teaching Assistant who has previously worked at a primary or SEN school and is advanced in the use of signs and symbols such as Makaton and Phonics. In this role, you will be required to support children across KS1 and KS2 - but will initially work with children in Year 2 and Year 4. A great deal of responsibility is also required as you will be responsible for keeping the records of children.In addition to the above, the Hiring Manager will only consider a candidate who is literate, with good handwriting skills; and is punctual.The interview format will consist of:- a written and Maths test (very basic)
- a SATS Test
