Air Source Engineers

Position: Air Source Heat Pump Installation teamsContract: Ltd contractor’s welcome, Established Heating Engineering companies welcome.Targeted installs: 4 – 6 installs per weekPrice per install: £2500.00 per signed off installEstimated earnings: £10,000 - £15,000 per weekTeam requirements: Work effectively within an installation team that will include at least 2 heating engineers and an electrician.Catchment area: AS&T’s client work and recruit on a national basis however the geographic catchment area for this contract is Powys, Mid WalesAS&T Ltd have been instructed to recruit experienced & qualified Air Source Heat Pump Installation teams.Qualifications required for this role:* 17th (18th) additional in Electrical.* NVQ Level 2 plumbing or H&V (domestic) or equivalent.* BPEC Domestic Heat Pump Installation qualification.* A certificate of competence for the installation of unvented hot water systems. WRAS approved Water Regulations qualification.* Working at heightsThe Air Source Heat Pump installers will be required to carry out:* New system installations* Laying a base for the heat pump & siting the external unit.* Install new HW cylinder and associated pipework & fittings.* Fit new radiators throughout property and the new pipework that connects these to the heat pump and cylinder.* Tested and commission all installs.* The position requires the chosen Installation teams to deliver successful installations in a timely fashion.* Installation must keep within budget parameters* Compliance with all statutory and designated standards for safety & quality.* Domestic Heat Pump Installation Qualifications.* Relevant experience as a Heat Pump installer.* Previous experience to be able to manage and organise installs.* Working to timescale and budgets.* Able to interpret technical surveys.* Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.* Working at heights.* Working in confined spaces.* Customer service skill.* Excellent communication skills* Flexible working hours to ensure all installs are completed* Ability to complete all paper work without fail* Liaising with office staff and surveyors to ensure adequate resource and materials are in place for successful installations.* Maintain a flexible team orientated approach to tasks and responsibilities to make a significant contribution within a small team delivering installs.All of the above must be done in a professional manner to ensure that the home is left in suitable condition following the installationTerms of Employment:Ltd contact only10-day payment termsTo apply for this vacancy please call Paul Guy on (phone number removed)
