Asset - Site Surveyor

My client is based in Wake field and looking for a Freelance / Contract Asset Site Surveyor to join their expanding team due to an increase in workload.In this position you will be covering projects in and around the Yorkshire region. Due to the demands of the role you will mainly site based and covering multiple projects at any given time.The role will be attached to water sector projects on AMP6 where you will be visiting water treatment, WWTW, WTW and pumping stations.Responsibilities / tasks will include:·Organise, coordinate and schedule multiple site entry / visits
·Undertake site surveying
oSurvey existing site against Security Measures Specifications
oAscertain preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions
oIdentify any non-compliances to specification
oUndertake detailed site measurement
oCollate & record all necessary site information
oDocument findings - written report, engineering measurement, photographic
·Produce Surveying Report
oTake site survey information and compile report
oUsing agreed schedule rates, compile project pricing
oComplete any specification dispensation forms for acceptance
·Hand-over survey and scope of works to project delivery team
·Attend internal and external review and progress meetings
·Co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams
·Security Clearance
·Driving License
·CSCS Card
·First Aider
·An industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng. or NVQ equivalent is preferable but candidates with relevant career experience will also be considered
·Experience of working with Physical Security works desired (Doors, Windows, Fencing, Gates etc)
·Knowledge of Security and Emergency Measures Directive
·Experience of working within the water/sewage or utilities sectors with 3+ years' experience an advantage
·Working knowledge of IT, predominantly Microsoft, Google & Apple products
·Self-motivation

·Be proactive in your approach
·An excellent communicatorOn offer is a circa 6 month contract based working Monday - Friday.
