Head of Contract Management | Oslo, Norway | 12 Month ContractMy client is looking for an ambitious and driven individual to join their growing team on a large Oil & Gas EPC Refinery project. As Head of Contract Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing a team of personnel. Please see below a brief description of the responsibilities of this position along with requirements needed to be able to successfully fill this position:The Role:To provide support and guidance to the Project team in the management and administration of the main contract.
Participate in the reporting to provide management with contractual analysis when required in assistance to the project.
Assist in monitoring, measuring and improving the level of implementation and effectiveness of tools, process and procedures.
Monitor and report on performances.
Have consistent liaison with the main contractors across the process.
Supporting the project managers, site managers, supervisors, etc.
You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts. Moreover, you will independently advise on legal aspects in connection with the negotiation and execution of such contracts.
Identify, analyse, document and escalate contractual risks.
You will provide advice and input on training offered by the legal department. Requirements:Minimum 10 years experience in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry.
Previous experience on EPC projects.
Available to start September 2019.
Must have eligibility to work in the EU.
Must be degree level qualified.
Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills.
Ability to lead and manage personnel.
