Simply put, Cleo ... never stops The Position: We are seeking a highly motivatedCorporate Contracts Specialistto join our expanding Cleo Legal team. This position can be based out of Pottsville, PA, Rockford, IL, Chicago or work remotely from anywhere in the US - it is all about finding the right fit! This is a highly-visible individual contributor role, partnering with senior leadership, with a sense of urgency, to manage the operational delivery and development of contracts, monitoring performance and achievement of contract requirements, and providing guidance and support at all stages of the contracting process. You will bring a broad scope of knowledge and expertise in the areas of: Non-Disclosure Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Requests, Contractor Agreements, etc. You will have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of contracts experience. If you have SaaS contracts experience, or experience working for a midsize technology company, that would be a plus. #LI-Remote What You Will Be Doing + Draft, review, and provide advice and support in connection with a range of routine contract types, including non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, change requests, independent contractor agreements, and contract extensions + Review and respond to redlines to contracts when received from the other side + Manage and lead contract negotiations directly with clients in order to obtain cost-effective, best-value results for Cleo + Manage contracts database and other record keeping + Assist with managing and optimizing contract, signature, and workflow systems + Analyze all requirements and provisions in contracts to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies + Complete other projects as assigned, such as continuous process improvement and working with stakeholders to review and update templates and tools + Work across time zones as needed, and effectively manage workload around business cycles, like quarter and year end Requirements + Bachelor's Degree required, JD is a Plus + 3 -5 years of experience in contract review and negotiations + The ability to effectively review and edit basic legal documents and to negotiate directly with clients on those documents to closure, within desired SLAs + Experience with setting priorities and working in a fast-paced environment that is deadline-driven and detailed oriented.
