Document Control - Part Time

Document Control (Part Time) - 6 months + - South West LondonPart Time Document Controller required to join an established civil engineering business working on a new project that they have recently been awarded.This is a part time position to work 2 or 3 days a week. Days are flexible.You will be based on site as the sole document controller working closely within the design team. You will mainly be responsible for document control duties however there may be the occasional requirement to support with administrative tasks.This is a temporary position for 6 months during the design and planning stage and is likely to be extended for 2-3 years after the construction phase continues thereafter.Rate will depend on expereince from £13-18ph LTD (£10-15ph PAYE) on a freelance / hourly basisYou will be based in a large site cabin in South West London - Vauxhall, Nine Elms, Battersea are all walking distance with various bus routes leading to the site.Hours are 8am to 5pmAsite experience is essential however other document control system experience will be consideredRole will involve:* Upload and download documentation and comply with all Document Control procedures using Asite* Maintain up to date list of controlled documents on asite* Updating health and safety files onto asite* Ensure that main contractor, consultants and suppliers comply with the Document Control Plan* Assist in archiving and recording documentation at project completion on asite* Process a backlog of documents and ensure they are updated as requiredTo be considered for the role, candidates must have:* Experience using several document control systems - Asite experience is essential* Experience working on site for a subcontractor or main contractor* Ability to work as a sole document controller* Ability to work in a stand alone position* Ability to work under pressureTo apply for this position you have have previous experience working as a document controller on your ownRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
