We want to recruit a graduate who has the skills to pageant their enthusiasm for SEN and help this young boy settle into the school.About the Learning Support Assistant roleIn this Learning Support Assistant position, you will be working in a 1:1 fashion to support the progression and development of young boy that is joining the school in September with EBD (Emotional Behaviour Disorder). It will be your main duty to ensure that the child is able to settle into the class and begin learning effectively, however you will be on hand to help prevent any potential outbursts, stemming from his understanding of the learning material. Part of this LSA role will also include taking him out of lessons for sessions with the educational therapist, whilst the child is in these sessions, you will adopt the role of whole classroom Teaching Assistant.The SchoolFound in Isle of Sheppey, this inclusive primary school is within walking distance of local shops and frequently used public transport routes that allows for easy access from the neighbouring towns.
