ICT Technician from January 2018

My client an outstanding school in South West London - Wandsworth seeking an ICT Technician to startfrom January 2018.As the appointed applicant, you will be required to maintain, support and develop all aspects of the school's ICT infrastructure, both hardware and software, so as to help to provide a reliable and satisfying ICT service to all users within the school.Specific Tasks include:
- Maintain all ICT systems in a functional state
- Resolve user ICT problems
- Operate data backup procedures and restore data as and when required
- Roll out new and/or updated software images to desktops and laptops
- Maintain antivirus software (Sophos) in an up-to-date state across all workstations
- Install and configure new software
-Order equipment etc. under the direction of the Data Manager and the Head teacher.
- Carry out other duties as may be identified by the Data Manager and the Head teacherAs the successful applicant, you must have working knowledge and understanding of:
-Microsoft Server and Workstation operating systems, including Active Directory, User Management and Group Policies
- MS Office 2010
- IP networking and wireless systems
- Workstation software rollout using Ghost
- PC hardware
