Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher who is seeking a class teacher role at a ‘Good’ Roman Catholic primary school in North London?A primary school in the Crouch End area of Haringey, London are seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher to start as soon as possible with competitive salary available in line with experience (MPS 1-6 Inner London - £28,660-£39,006).The Governors of this OFSTED rated good school (Feb 2015) wish to appoint an inspirational class teacher, committed to excellence, to join our dedicated staff team. The school’s aim is to maintain an orderly, happy atmosphere in school where all children can reach their full potential intellectually and socially, and for each child to grow in self-discipline and responsibility.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic leadership team to drive school improvement in partnership with our local community. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and NQTs.The responsibilities for this Key Stage 2 Teacher role will include:
• Carrying out teaching duties to meet objectives specified in the school's schemes of work and National Curriculum
• Assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of assigned pupils as defined by school policy
• Provide a high quality learning experience for pupils
• Working as a member of a team and contributing positively to effective working relationships within the school
• Provide or contribute to assessment reports to monitor student progressThe ideal candidate for this Key Stage 2 Teacher role will:
• be an exemplary classroom teacher with high expectations of attainment and behaviour
• through their teaching be able to inspire and motivate each child, at all levels in the school
