Learning Support Assistant – Autism, Haringey

* Based in Haringey
* Full-Time
* £65-£80 a day *Depending on experienceEmpowering Learning are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work within a Secondary SEN School based in Haringey supporting pupils on the Autistic Spectrum. We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable Learning Support Assistant, that will be able to support pupils on a daily basis in the classroom. Some of the pupils you will be supporting will have various SEN needs, experience of supporting different needs would be desirable but not essential. You will play a key role in supporting the pupils with communication, learning, and independence, in a safe and inclusive environment to help their development.Job Responsibilities* Supporting pupils on 1:1 basis

* Full-Time positionJob Requirements* Experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant or Classroom Assistant
* Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Experience supporting Secondary pupils
* Strong communication skills
* Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
* Available 5 days a week
