*** Could lead to School Direct for 2019We are seeking for a September start two graduates of Science who can commit to working as a Teaching Assistant for the 2018/19 academic year. This post is suited to a Science Graduate who is interested in training to become a Science Teacher. To be considered you will need to be an enthusiastic and talented graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree and ideally have some experience working with children although not essential. We want to meet graduates who can create a motivational atmosphere to the department with bags of energy enthusiasm someone who is passionate to see pupils achieve their very best.In this Science Teaching Assistant post you will be working solely in the Science department. You will have the advantage to work alongside some outstanding teachers who will be there to support and guide you in your role you will also be provided with a bespoke CPD and training course aimed at preparing graduates for a PGCE or School Direct placement. You will be supporting pupils on a small group and 1:1 basis, helping those who need it most to achieve the targets set. Good communications skills, patience and a passion for science are key elements to the success of this role.
