SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are working very closely with a secondary school based in Brent in supplying them with experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to support students ranging from Year 7-11 with Autism (ASD)).Appointed applicant will support the class teacher, other staff and professionals in meeting the pupil's needs to enable him to achieve his full potential.The successful applicant will:* Have experience of working with secondary Students with behaviour difficulties
* Have effective communication skills with a good working knowledge of the English language and the ability to keep written notes on pupil progress.
* Have experience of working as part of a team
* Be enthusiastic, confident and show initiative
* Ideally have previous experience of working with special educational needs/learning difficulties.This is a long term on going position to start ASAP.
