It is fully certified in advanced training provision and enjoys huge support in the community. Having seen a huge success in this direction, the school is happy to continue offering a positive teaching and learning space that encourages independent thought, intellectual curiosity, and a respectful attitude.In this Science Graduate Teaching Assistant post you will be supporting teaching across the science department and acting as a mentor to GCSE students who are preparing for their Science exams. Helped and supported by all the staff, you will also be assigned a Senior Teacher to work closely with you as your designated mentor. As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be helping to keep mainstream classes disruption free by running small intervention groups for pupils who, whether due to their particularly low or high ability, are not reaching their potential.To be successful in your application you must be an ambitious Science graduate who has previous experience supporting children and a 2:1 degree at the very least. You will have an unrivalled enthusiasm for ensuring every pupil is given first class support and assistance in the classroom.
