Year 1 Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a passionate and creative Year 1 Teacher to join this ‘Good’ primary school based in Brent for a January 2019 start. This is a full-time role and the salary will be Inner London scale £28660 - £39006.This child centred 4-form entry Primary school aim to deliver outstanding learning through outstanding teaching. Staff here value the development of the whole child and focus on engaging parents in their children’s education. This is a friendly school where everyone is made to feel valued and encouraged to forge positive relationships.We are looking for a teacher that:
- Will have high expectations and strive for the best for all the pupils
- Can help the school in its goal of becoming Outstanding
- Has recent experience of teaching Year 1 and delivering phonics
- Will fit in with the diverse, inclusive curriculum which is balanced and differentiated to the needs of each studentThis is a role to work as a Year 1 Teacher to start in January on a maternity contract at a school rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED.
The school is a based in Brent and is easily accessible by public transport. This school is in an excellent area as you would be receiving Inner London pay although the school doesn’t have an Inner London feel. Car Parking is also available on site and off road.In return the school offers:

- Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
- Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
