Helpdesk & Service Delivery Analyst

A global energy company are looking for a Helpdesk & Service Delivery Analyst to join their team in Glasgow on an 8 month contract - The role will be onboarded remotely, but candidates must be based in or around the Glasgow area.

Job Summary

Act as the as the first point of contact between Technology Services & business colleagues.
Incident management and request fulfilment, including problem managementMain Duties & Responsibilities

Asset Management
Apply tools, techniques and processes to create and maintain an accurate asset register.
Produce reports/analysis to support asset management activities and aid decision making.
Customer Service Support
Act as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for support.
Respond to a broad range of service requests for support by providing information to fulfil requests or enable resolution.
Provide 1st line investigation/diagnosis, promptly allocate unresolved issues as appropriate.
Assist with the development of standards, and applies these to track, monitor, report, resolve or escalate issues.
Contribute to creation of support documentation.
Incident Management
Following agreed procedures, identifies, registers and categorises incidents.
Gather information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocates incidents as appropriate.
Maintain records and advises relevant persons of actions taken.
Service Level Management
Monitor/log the service provided, compared to that required by service level agreements.
Application Support
Assist in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications.
Assist with specified maintenance procedures.
Security Administration
Receive and responds to routine requests for security support.
Maintain records and advise relevant persons of actions taken.
Assist in the investigation/resolution of issues relating to access controls & security systems.Essential Skills
