Counsellor or Psychotherapist

SELF-EMPLOYED ASSOCIATE COUNSELLORS AND PSYCHOTHERAPISTS TO WORK WITH ADULTS BASED IN MANCHESTER AND CHESHIRE
An opportunity has arisen for a self-employed, qualified and experienced Associate Therapist. The hours are part time, and will vary depending on service demand.

Our range of approaches and offerings mean that our clients choose what option works best for them and then we refer them on to trained professionals like yourself who specialise in the relevant area.
Requirements:
Must be able to provide a high quality service being exceptionally competent in the following: -
Providing counselling / therapy for clients with low, moderate and complex emotional/mental health/behavioural difficulties
Deliver services via online, video, telephone, or face to face as appropriate
Use creative interventions as appropriate
Managing, sometimes, complex boundaries within the setting
Screening referrals, responding to referrers and providing assessments etc. as appropriate
Managing a caseload competently and effectively
Communicating clearly and effectively with the setting, referrer, agencies (as appropriate)
Effective use of own clinical supervision
Managing emails
Filing and systems/processes
Managing phone calls and own diary
Communicating with clients as needed
Communicating effectively with the organisation
Seeking support as needed from the clinical leads
We have 6 vacancies in total across Manchester and Chershire.
Initially this is a 6 month contract with the opportunity to be extended every 6 months.
