HR Assistant

Job Title - HR Assistant (FTC until October 2019)Location - TingleySalary- Band 4 £19,800 - £23,100An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Flexible Worker HR team based in TingleyWe are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and capable HR Practitioner for the position of Human Resources Assistant within our team responsible for providing HR support to the flexible staff working for NHS Professionals Limited..As HR Assistant you will:* Be the first line of contact and assist the Flexible Worker Human Resources team in providing advice and guidance on standard HR guidelines, procedures and terms & conditions of employment to managers and employees.* Support the operation of disciplinary and grievance processes, including minute taking, inputting data and documents to the complaints and incidents system* Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager including training/development, absence management and employment variations.* Assist with employee services support to either flexible workers or corporate employees, including helpline support correspondence.* Respond to telephone, voicemail and email messages in a timely manner.* Assist in the preparation and distribution of internal communications.* Support the implementation of key HR projects and initiatives, such as Agenda for change, Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF) and other transformation programs.* Maintain an effective filing system in both electronic and paper formats for HR records and associated documentation.* Create and maintain a reference library of HR related material containing both NHS/operational information as well as professional CIPD and related journals etc.* Arrange meetings, training events, tele and video conferences.With previous experience of working in a busy HR team, you will be highly organised and hold a Certificate in Personnel Practice or equivalent.If this sounds like like you, then apply today!We offer very competitive terms and conditions which includes an attractive basic salary offering progression for exceptional performers, access to a stakeholder pension scheme, 27 days annual leave per year plus public holidays.
