We believe that everybody should matter, regardless of how old they are. We are now looking for a Service Manager to join us on a contract until the 31st March 2019. This is your chance to become an integral member of a passionate team, make a positive impact and oversee services that improve people’s lives for the better. As the Service Manager, you will deliver our LRI Hospital Transport and Supporting You at Home services. Our LRI Hospital Transport service provides patients with vital transport links during their oncology treatment, and our Supporting You at Home service aims to help older people to live independently at home and avoid admission to hospital. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will: - Manage the co-ordination, promotion and delivery of the services
- Help to recruit, train and support volunteers and staff  
- Promote the benefits of services 
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day budget management of the services 
- Make sure that accurate records are maintained 
- Monitor, evaluate and identify ways to continually improve the service To be considered, you will need: - A full, valid driving licence
- Proficiency in industry standard IT systems, such as MS Office, email and the internet 
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills  Organised and focused, as the Service Manager, you must have great interpersonal and communication skills.
