Lettings Administrator

A great opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Administrator based on Birmingham Business Park to help provide housing solutions to tenants and applicants. The role is a 6 month fixed term contract to start in January. You will work a 35 hour week, Monday to Friday and you will receive 32 days holiday pro rata including Bank Holidays and no car parking fees!With a team of over 400 staff, you will be working for an award winning company who manages more than 20,000 affordable homes and social housing across England. With excellent standards in place, you will be working for an organisation that is committed to providing a strong customer focus and delivering high performance.As the Lettings Administrator, you will be:* Inputting applicants' details onto a housing management system and maintaining waiting lists for properties
* Advertising properties and making contact with Local Authorities to urgently request suitable applicants for available properties
* Liaising with colleagues regarding information for new schemes to ensure there are minimal delays in allocating new homes to applicants
* Completing credit checks and references for prospective tenants
* Providing statistical information to Local Authorities
* Providing advice and support to customersTo be successful as the Lettings Administrator, you will have:* Previously worked in an administration role within property, housing or estate agency
* IT literate in Word and Excel
* You may have experience of the following: Property Assistant, Housing Officer, Tenancy Support, Property Administrator, Customer Service, Reception, Third Sector, Homes, Choice Based Lettings, Mutual ExchangeThe Lettings Administrator will receive a salary of £23,365 per annum pro rata, plus the following benefits -* 32 days holiday including Bank Holidays
