Accounts Payable Coordinator

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are working with a top tier Consultancy who are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their Central London office. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines. This role will be for 12 months with an immediate start.

The ideal candidate must have relevant experience, excellent numeracy skills, accuracy and attention to detail. A good knowledge of excel is a must - candidates will ideally have knowledge of royalties processing in order to hit the ground running.

Accounts Payable Coordinator duties in include, but not limited to:

Drive Accounts Payable process and contribute to Accounts Payable accounting, collaborating and teaming with our external provider
Process, audit and review expense reports, adhering to the global T&E and other relevant policies
Communicate, update and ensure compliance with T & E policy
Review and validate payment batches, including employee expenses
Undertake the cash accounts' booking & reconciliation in GL & AP ledger
Ensure proper document retention of invoices, expense reports and other related documentation
Ensure correct coding of expenses and invoices prior to recording / entry into the accounting system Prepare supplier statement reconciliations for key vendors
Provide training to new joiners on time & expenses
Month end reconciliations and other tasks to ensure accurate reporting and timely close of the AP ledger
Optimize finance processes, provide ad hoc information and analysis as required Accounts Payable & Expenses Coordinator
Continuously working on ensuring tax compliance and avoidance of tax risk for both AP & Expenses transactions
Provide support during internal & external audits (tax and financial accounting)
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external laws and regulations (proactively monitor changes in the regulatory landscape)The role will be paying between £33-37K per annum dependant on experience.
