Year 1 Primary Teacher
The school are seeking an experienced and creative Year 1 teacher. This is a full time position that will last for the rest of the academic year with the view to continuing in September 2021. MPS salary available, dependent upon experience.

For this Year 1 Primary Teacher role, the school are seeking candidates who:
*Demonstrates excellent National Curriculum knowledge
*A proven track record of raising attainment
*Excellent Phonics knowledge
*Demonstrates a variety of teaching and learning strategies which they use effectively
*A team player
*Good written and verbal communication skills
*Is willing to contribute to the broader life of the school
The core duties of this Year 1 Primary Teacher role are:
*To provide a high quality teaching and learning for all children by leading the learning in school, developing consistent practice in teaching and learning and ensuring that children achieve the highest standards of attainment and achievement. Children are expected to make rapid and sustained progress.
*The teacher will contribute to the schools strategic planning documentation (SIP), supporting the ethos, aims and vision of the school
*To take full teaching and learning responsibility for a Year 1 class
The school is located in Brent and is very accessible via public transport (overground and underground stations) and has a car park available for staff.

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
To be considered for this position the school are looking for a Year 1 Teacher who has previous experience working in a school setting.
The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks.
