SQL Developer/Data/MI Analyst (Banking)

Our client, a global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced SQL Developer/Data/MI Analyst with a Banking background to join their team in their clients' office in London. You can work remotely until Covid abates.

This is 3 months temporary contract (extendable) to start on 08th March.

The right candidate should have excellent SQL skills with deep knowledge of SQL Databases.

Key Requirements:

  • 2-5 large scale data quality/mining/analysis/remediation/visualisation experience (5+ years experience)
  • Excellent SQL skills with deep knowledge of SQL Databases
  • SQL Data solutions with PEGA+Visualisation
  • Strong knowledge of data quality, data analysis, reporting
  • Strong knowledge handling spreadsheet based data and Scripting
  • PEGA knowledge to handle automation
  • Working experience with any of the statistical packages like Python/R and SAS is added advantage
  • Experience in working on solution data pipelines in hybrid environments - RDBMS [SQL]
  • Ability to use visualisation tools [Tableau, Power BI etc] to storyboard and communicate insights
  • Can independently structure business problems into analytics projects and POCs, develop solutions and support implementation
  • Lead discovery process by identifying what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources (any Domain but BFSI - preferred)
  • Utilise patterns and variations in the volume, speed and other characteristics of data supporting the initiative, the type of data in predictive analysis
  • Collaborate with 2 offshore Developers
  • Publications in related fields (Good to have)
  • Experience in Collections & Credit process is a bonus but not mandatory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information and key takeaways to the team and other key stakeholders in the organisation and clients
