Graduate Quality Engineer
A global specialist in the design and manufacture of resilient metal seals, gaskets and ancillary components are seeking a Graduate Quality Engineer to join them on a 12-month placement. They are a rapidly growing multi-national business with operations in the UK, US and Europe. The organisation has a real commitment to ensuring everyone reaches their full potential whilst contributing to the success of the business.As part of the quality team, the Graduate Quality Engineer will learn to develop the parts measurement, process qualification, compliance and approvals processes required by the organisations customers and legislative bodies to ensure their products and support service processes meet aerospace and automotive standards. Working alongside quality engineers, operators and process engineers you will use engineering theory, statistical tools and continuous improvement techniques to develop and drive operational excellence, manufacturing capability, operator lead quality control and business-wide risk mitigation outcomes.Successful candidates will have the unrivalled opportunity to experience and contribute to real and critical industrial challenges within an agile, engineering-led and class-leading organisation.During the 12-month placement, you will be tasked with an individual project targeting improvement of current quality assurance and approval processes. • Be predicted or achieved a minimum 2:1 degree in an engineering / manufacturing / science degree or equivalent.
• A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
• Good engineering / technical knowledge.
• Be a competent PC user.
• Experience of coding, statistics and process modelling desirable.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing / processing environment is desirable
