Senior Support Officer

Job Purpose and Objectives
To provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective support service to individuals and teams to enable them to maximise their delivery potential.To provide support, advice and information to partner and external agencies, including other local authorities, national bodies and partnership authorities
and members of the general public within a specialist area.To ensure that the Local Authority fulfills any statutory duties applicable to the specialist area of work.To co-ordinate programmes of work in relation to the specialist area of work.Main Duties
Provide full administrative support for the arrangement of meetings, conferences, attending meetings, acting as on-site support throughout.Work under minimum supervision and using own initiative.Processing and raising invoicesMaintain Diary systemsAssist the Service Support Manager with Hr issues/changesProvide coaching and guidance to other members of the Service Support TeamFull comprehensive Communication and contract with External and Internal personnel.You will be expected to:Achieve defined performance targets either through individual work and contribution to corporate servicesPrepare a plan and record work as required, report on progress to the line manager and participate fully in the agreed appraisal schemeBe aware of and actively support the LA's policies, in particular with regard to equality and diversity and safeguarding of children and young people
