IT PROJECT MANAGER

Location: South East 

  • We are looking for an IT Project Manager based in South East (Option of working from remote) on a permanent basis. 
  • Role/ Responsibilities Identify and acquire the means to achieve project/programme/portfolio requirements Lead integration across all work streams and organisational boundaries to deliver project objectives Identify and secure resource. 
  • Lead project/programme/portfolio team, including setting up, developing and evaluating team performance where appropriate.
  • Monitor, control and manage overall project/programme/portfolio performance to address deviations from plan in line with company standard processes Influencing and management of key project/programme/portfolio stakeholders (internal and external). 
  • Status reporting to the PMO/Head of IT/Project/Programme Executive/Director. 
  • Able to make good decision based on limited information Team leadership responsibilities, including the planning and prioritisation of their work. 
  • Promotion of the general culture and professionalism of project management throughout the Business Experience Must be a proven PM, ideally with experience in the energy industry but not essential.
  • Must have global experience Must have manager budgets in excess of £5m Must have strong stakeholder

You must have 10+ years Programme Management experience in Software Delivery ideally in an Agile Environment. 

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to organize and coordinate a greenfield software development project. You will provide strategic guidance and overseeing the progress of operations. You will co-ordinate the programme’s workstreams and manage their interdependencies and risks. 

Responsibilities
·Planning, design and monitoring the programme and weekly reporting on progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective actions
·meetings and communication with client, stakeholders, internal and external technology partners across the UK
·Ensure smooth and successful delivery of the programme working with senior management and the teams to resolve blockers and manage dependencies
·Manage the contractual deliverables for the customer
·Define Governance, decision stage gates and responsibilities (RACI)
·Oversee delivery of quality assurance of the programme
·Administration of day to day activities (meetings, calls, documents) supported by a Project Administrator
·Identify and allocate resources/tasks to PMs, Commercial project Commercial, Service Ops, PMs, Legal, Finance
·Ensuring the delivery of the project is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget
·Initiate management interventions wherever gaps in the programme are identified or issues arise

Must have
·Thorough Agile experience 
·Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods
·Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
·Excellent knowledge of program/project management software (Jira, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage
·Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
·Ability to travel frequently in the UK and work out of London
·Excellent communication skills
·Excellent problem-solving ability
·Agile certification

Device Employment Engineer

£130 - £160/day

Our client is looking for a Device Deployment Engineer The primary function of the role will be to build, test and deploy devices to all staff. There will also be a requirement to provide support to all users. You will have experience of deploying devices to users, and have excellent customer service skills as you will be deploying and providing face to face training to users at handover. You must also have excellent 1st and 2nd line technical skills to help resolve issues through the build and deployment process. The role will be required to: * To install, configure and test hardware and software components. * Undertake handover training with staff * Assist in the management of the asset register and auditing of system records. * To log, monitor and resolve service desk calls within agreed service levels * Provide 1st line and 2nd line support to our user base, with remote working available. * To liaise with users, support services and third party suppliers. * To carry out standard cleaning and routine maintenance procedures. * Work within an ITIL service management framework Additional responsibilities: * To always see the service through the eyes of the customer and make suggestions for improvement where appropriate * To constantly challenge self-performance and seek to find improvements To carry out duties efficiently and effectively Qualities, Skills and Knowledge Excellent communications with great interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team Minimum of 5 years’ experience on an IT Service Desk Knowledge of Office 365 and Citrix Windows 10 trouble shooting • Knowledge of ITIL Desirable to have knowledge of Local Government applications
