Interim Hospital Director
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Hospital Director, for up to 6 months in the first instance.
The role will be on site and candidates must have considerable experience as a Senior Operational Manager in a provider organisation, as well as evidence of leading and implementing change.
Key responsibilities will include:
Overall operational management of the acute hospital sites, Clinical Support Services and Cancer Services;
Lead responsibility for delivering national and internal targets;
Ensuring delivery of services against the annual plan;
Monitoring the clinical and financial performance of the services, presenting options for improvement and taking corrective action where necessary;
Efficient and effective use of resources to ensure highest standards of patient care and excellent service delivery;
Ensuring all systems and processes are designed to meet operational best practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong NHS background;
Substantial experience as a Senior Operational leader in a provider organisation;
Evidence of leading and implementing change;
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills;
An understanding of the structure and framework of the NHS Wales would be ideal.
